Member Breakfast & Tour

February 25, 2012 - 9:00 AM
To be held at CSO Headquarters, 9120 Old Post Road, Port Richey, FL

This is our annual member breakfast. All Salt Springs Alliance members, as well as those interested in joining, are invited to attend. A full hot breakfast will be served. After eating, we will be taking a short hike (about 1 mile round trip) so that everyone can see our new day use area and parking lot - just recently completed. We will also show you the proposed canoe/kayak launch area we hope to start using later this year. Yes, things are happening at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park. Come see us!

There is no charge for this event. If you plan to attend, please make a reservation so that we will know how much food to prepare.

We encourage all of our current members to renew their membership during this event.

Kayak Repair Seminar

March 25, 2012 - 1:00 PM
At CSO Headquarters, 9120 Old Post Road, Port Richey, FL

A must for those who own kayaks and want to be able to make repairs, patch leaks, and maintain their own watercraft. The seminar will be presented by Thomas Doehleman of Osprey Bay Outdoors. Tom is an ACA trained paddling instructor, and Fit System boot fitter, trained by Phil Oren. He is a paddling and outdoor enthusiast who keeps busy with educational seminars and organizing paddling trips.

After the seminar, we invite you to join us for a short paddle on Salt Spring Run - so bring your kayaks if you want to join in the fun.

The cost for this seminar is $10.00. Free for Salt Springs Alliance members.
