"Sounds at Sunset" Hike and Stargazing - April 25, 2009

Over 70 people turned out to enjoy a hike through the park, catch the sunset and check out the local wildlife.

The sunset was worth the walk.  Common Nighthawks did their aerial mating display.  Even elusive Black Rails were heard calling and growling.

As evening approached and the night sky darkened, telescopes were set up by Mark Hardies and Joe Colontonis
Everyone got the chance to do a little star gazing.
